Adam and Barbara Maitland drive off a covered bridge in Connecticut and come home. They are dead. The Handbook for the Recently Deceased says they are stuck in the house for 125 years. The Deetzes, a New York family with a sculptor wife and a goth daughter, move in and start knocking down walls. Beetlejuice is Tim Burton’s second film and the one where everything that became his style arrived at once.
What Happens When They Say His Name Three Times
The Maitlands try to haunt the house and are not good at it. They go to the afterlife waiting room, where a man with a shrunken head sits next to a woman who has been cut in half. Their caseworker tells them not to use the bio-exorcist. They use him. Betelgeuse, played by Michael Keaton in about seventeen minutes of screen time, has been in a model town in the attic and wants out. The Day-O dinner party, the sandworms and the wedding are the last half hour.
Why Keaton Has Seventeen Minutes And Owns The Film
He improvised most of it and built the voice and the moss on the teeth himself. Winona Ryder, sixteen, is Lydia, who sees ghosts because she is strange and unusual. Catherine O’Hara’s Delia is the best mother Burton has written. The sequel took thirty-six years and brought the three of them back.
