Comedy Romance

Peter Klaven is an estate agent in Los Angeles who has always had girlfriends and never had guy friends. He proposes to Zooey, she says yes, and her friends ask who his best man will be. There is nobody. His brother, who is gay, coaches him on meeting men. He goes on man-dates. They go badly. Then at an open house for Lou Ferrigno’s mansion he meets Sydney Fife. What Happens With Sydney

Sydney lives in a man cave in Venice with a jam room and Rush on repeat. He has no filter. Peter, who speaks in nicknames he cannot finish, slowly loosens up. They jam to Tom Sawyer. They go to a Rush concert with Zooey, who watches two grown men air-drum. Sydney borrows money for a billboard. Peter’s engagement starts to suffer from him having a best friend for the first time, and the wedding is where it is resolved, with Rush.
